SSC OTR 2025: Age Limit Varies According to Exams

🟦 SSC CHSL (Combined Higher Secondary Level)

Minimum Age: 18 years

Maximum Age: 27 years

Applies to posts:

Lower Division Clerk (LDC)

Junior Secretariat Assistant (JSA)

Postal / Sorting Assistant (PA / SA)

Data Entry Operator (DEO)

🟨 SSC MTS (Multi-Tasking Staff & Havaldar)

Minimum Age: 18 years

Maximum Age:

MTS: 25 years

Havaldar (CBIC / CBN): 27 years

🟩 SSC CPO (Sub-Inspector in Delhi Police & CAPFs)

Minimum Age: 20 years

Maximum Age: 25 years

MES / BRO: 30 years

⚫ Age relaxations (upper limit) as per SSC Recruitment Notification Rules:

OBC: +3 years | SC / ST: +5 years

PwBD (UR): +10 years | PwBD (OBC): +13 years | PwBD (SC/ST): +15 years

Ex-Servicemen: 3 years after deduction of military service

J&K domiciles (certain period): +5 years

Documents Required for OTR

• Mobile number (for OTP verification)
• Email ID (for OTP verification)
• Aadhaar number or another valid ID (e.g., PAN card, Passport)
• Matriculation (10th) certificate details
• Scanned passport-size photograph
• Scanned signature
• Disability certificate number, if applicable.

How To Register/Edit/Correction for SSC Examination 2025 

• Visit the official website. Go to the new SSC portal at ssc.gov.in.
• Click “Register Now.” On the homepage, find the “Login or Register” section and click the “Register Now” link.
• Enter basic details. Fill in your name, father’s name, mother’s name, date of birth, mobile number, and email ID. You will be asked to enter some details twice to prevent errors.
• Verify via OTP. You will receive an OTP on your registered mobile number and email ID. Enter these to verify your contact information.
• Create your login. After verification, you will set a username and a strong password for your account. You will also be prompted to set security questions for recovery.
• Provide additional and contact details. Log in with your new credentials and fill in additional information like your category, nationality, permanent and present address, and a visible identification mark.
• Upload photograph and signature. Upload the scanned copies of your recent passport-size photograph and signature, adhering to the specified file size and dimensions.
• Review and declare. Carefully review all the information you have entered. Read and agree to the declaration before proceeding.
• Submit the registration. Click the final “Submit” button to complete the process. You will receive an OTR Registration Number via SMS and email.

Once your OTR is complete, you can log in to your dashboard to apply for specific SSC exams as and when their notifications are released. The OTR is a one-time effort, but you must complete separate application forms for each individual exam you wish to appear for.
 

Mode of Examination: Online

• Interested candidates who wish to Register/Edit/Correction for SSC Examination 2025 can submit their application online from 08 October 2025.
• Make sure to complete the Registration/Edit/Correction before the deadline.
