Note : Although there is no provision for negative marking for wrong answers in the examination, there can be a negative impact on the Normalization Score if a relatively higher number of questions are answered incorrectly during the Normalization process.

Syllabus (Common Structure & Subject Areas)

Two Sections in each Paper:

• Specific Subject Section (100 Questions / 100 Marks) – subject as per applicant’s teaching subject.
• “Art of Teaching” / Pedagogy & Other Skills Section – includes Art of Teaching, Teaching Methods, Teaching & Learning, Child Development, General Knowledge, Environmental Science, Mathematical Aptitude, Logical Reasoning (50 Marks).

Subject Lists:

• Paper I: Languages (Hindi, Urdu, Bengali, Maithili, Sanskrit, Arabic, Persian, Bhojpuri, English, etc.), Maths, Science, Social Science, Physical Education, Music, Fine Arts, Dance, etc.
• Paper II: Similar subject list but at Higher Secondary / Graduation / Post-Graduation level depending on subject.

How To Apply Online Bihar STET Examination 2025 Form

• The application process on https://secondary.biharboardonline.com/ and https://biharboardonline.com/ will be completed in three stages: Registration, Filling the Form, and Fee Payment.
• In registration, the applicant fills details on the registration page, clicks on Generate OTP, enters the OTP to complete, and then receives the User ID and Password on the registered mobile number via SMS.
• For filling the form, the applicant logs in with the User ID and Password. The application form opens with some pre-filled information from registration, and the applicant fills in personal and educational details.
• The applicant must upload a recent colored photograph (80–200 KB, 3.5 cm x 4.5 cm, white or light background, face and eyes clearly visible, without cap, head covering, or black spectacles) and a scanned signature (50–200 KB).
• After completing the form, the applicant clicks on Select Online Payment, chooses a payment gateway, and pays the examination fee using Debit Card, Credit Card, Net Banking, or UPI. Any other payment mode will not be accepted.

Mode Of Examination : Computer Based Test (CBT) as per Notification

Stages of Selection :

• Examination Paper I and/or Paper II
• Result & Certificate Issuance

Note : Candidates who qualify the written exam are declared “STET Qualified.” A STET Certificate is issued, which is valid for lifetime.

Qualifying the exam only makes a candidate eligible to apply for teaching vacancies as and when they are advertised separately.
