Educational Qualification

Prohibition Constable & Mobile Squad Constable: 

Candidates must possess one of the following minimum educational qualifications:

• Only Indian Citizens are eligible to apply under this advertisement.
• Intermediate (10+2) Pass from a recognized board.
• Maulvi Certificate issued by the Madrasa Board, Government of Bihar.
• Shastri Certificate (Including English) issued by the Sanskrit Board, Government of Bihar.
• Acharya Certificate (Excluding English) issued by the Sanskrit Board, Government of Bihar.
• Any other equivalent educational qualification officially recognized by the State Government.

Jail Warder:

• Intermediate (10+2) Pass OR an equivalent examination passed from a Board/Council recognized by any State Government or Central Government.

Note: For the post of Mobile Squad Constable, it is mandatory for the candidate to possess a valid driving license issued by a competent authority for driving two-wheelers and four-wheelers, Light Motor Vehicles (LMV) or Heavy Motor Vehicles (HMV), as of the advertisement date 26/09/2025 or prior to it.

• Go to csbc.bih.nic.in and open the Prohibition Dept. tab (for Prohibition Constable) or the Bihar Police recruitment tab (for Jail Warder / Mobile Squad).
• Click the link for Advertisement No. 03/2025 (Constable posts: Prohibition, Jail Warder, Mobile Squad).
• Select New Registration, read the instructions, and enter basic details (name, date of birth, mobile number, email).
• Save your registration number and password displayed/emailed for future login.
• Log in with those credentials and complete the detailed application form (education, category, address, etc.).
• Upload scanned photograph and signature per the prescribed format/dimensions and keep extra copies for verification.
• Pay the application fee ₹100 online via the available payment options and retain the payment receipt.
• Review all entries, submit the form, then print/save the confirmation page and fee receipt for your records.
