Age Relaxation Applicable as per MPESB 2025 Notification Rules : 

• UR Female (MP domicile) / SC / ST / OBC (MP domicile) / PwD (MP domicile): 45 years
• Ex-Servicemen: Age after deducting Defence service period, up to 5 years above max limit
• Guest Teachers (≥3 sessions & 200 days teaching): 49 years (UR Male) / 54 years (others)
• Special Categories (Rule 6.7: Vishesh Puraskar awardees, disabled soldiers, dependents of martyrs, retrenched/surplus staff, work-charged staff, NCC ‘C’ holders, repatriates, certain Revenue staff, etc.): 55 years + 5% bonus marks

Mandatory Eligibility: – Must have passed the Primary Teacher Eligibility Test (PTET) conducted by MPESB, Bhopal for 2020 or 2024, with qualifying score as prescribed.

Educational Qualifications (as per Rule 8, Schedule-III of Bharti Niyam 2018): Candidate must fulfill any one of the following: – 

(i) Higher Secondary (12th) or equivalent with minimum 50% marks and 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education (D.El.Ed.) or equivalent / Special Education Diploma.

OR – (ii) Higher Secondary (12th) or equivalent with minimum 45% marks and 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education (D.El.Ed.) (as per NCTE Regulation 2002).

OR – (iii) Higher Secondary (12th) or equivalent with minimum 50% marks and 4-year Bachelor in Elementary Education (B.El.Ed.).

OR – (iv) Graduation and 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education (D.El.Ed.) or equivalent.

Note: SC/ST/OBC/Divyangjan candidates get 5% relaxation in minimum qualifying marks.

Validity of Certificates: All academic/professional qualifications must be obtained from recognized institutions only. Additional documents are valid only after verification and submission within due date.

OR – equivalent and 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education / Special Education.

OR – 4-year Bachelor’s Degree in Elementary Education (B.El.Ed.) with relevant subject.

Note: SC/ST/OBC/PwD candidates get up to 5% relaxation in minimum qualifying marks.

Validity of Degrees / Diplomas: Only degrees/diplomas from recognized institutions (academic & professional) will be valid. Certificates issued by competent authorities will be accepted only after verification and submission within the stipulated time.
